A superb 2012 Fender Kurt Cobain Signature Mustang, manufactured in Japan and presented in very good overall condition.

Originally produced in Fiesta Red, this example has been professionally refinished in Sonic Blue and fitted with a contrasting tortoiseshell pickguard, giving it a fantastic vintage-inspired appearance.

The Kurt Cobain Mustang was designed to recreate the modified Fender Mustangs famously played by the Nirvana frontman during the early 1990s. Combining traditional Mustang styling with a more powerful pickup configuration, these signature models have become increasingly desirable since production ended.

The Japanese-made examples are particularly well regarded for their build quality, playability and attention to detail.

Kurt Cobain Signature Model

Based on Cobain's famously modified Mustangs, the signature model combines the compact, offset Mustang body with a distinctive pickup arrangement.

The traditional Mustang-style neck pickup provides familiar Fender clarity and articulation, while the humbucker in the bridge position delivers the thicker, more aggressive sound associated with Cobain's playing.

The combination makes these guitars exceptionally versatile, equally suited to clean, jangly tones and the heavily driven sounds of alternative rock and grunge.

Cosmetic Condition

The guitar is presented in very good overall condition, with only minor signs of use.

Supplied with a generic hard case for protection during storage and transport.
